Corporate Myth

From the top of the diased mountain,
Where currency overshadowed dieties,
A man peered out at the shifting multitude.

Elevating down, scenes altered their facade,
And he saw the corporate myth as a charade.

The challenge for material success
Seemed hollow and vacuous as a quest,
And he found he had not seen much at all.
